The House of the Three

🌈 Gecko, Limbi, Klaro and Klara

🩵 The House of the Three

Three friends lived in a large, colorful head house: Gecko, Limbi and Klara.

Gecko was quick and alert. If anything rustled, he was there immediately.

“Careful!” he then shouted. “I’ll look out for us!”

Limbi was soft and warm. He loved closeness, laughter and hugs.
He could feel how others were feeling and that made the house light.

And Klara was clever.
She liked plans, stories and clear thoughts.
If something was mixed up, she brought order to it.

Together they were strong: Gecko protected, Limbi connected, Klara understood.

🌫️ The Day It Went Quiet

One day, a voice came from outside.
It was loud, stern and cold.

“Stop crying!”
“Now be reasonable!”
“Feelings are useless!”

Limbi flinched. He felt something inside him grow smaller.

“I’m not allowed to be who I am…”

He retreated to a room deep inside. Gecko saw this and got scared.

“If Limbi cries, there’ll be trouble! I have to protect him!”

He stood outside Limbi’s door and kept watch.

And Klara suddenly felt empty. Something inside her had gone quiet – and that scared her.

Then she decided:

“If it’s unsafe on the inside, I have to have everything under control on the outside.”

She pulled up her sleeves, put on her glasses and became Klaro.

⚙️ The Gray House

Klaro worked hard. He organized, planned, calculated, explained.
The house was clean, quiet – perfect.

But it was also gray.

Sometimes he heard Gecko calling, and somewhere, deep down, a soft thumping.
But he pretended not to hear it.

“Feelings make mistakes,” he said.
“Order is safe.”

And so days, weeks, perhaps years passed.
Everything worked – but nothing was alive.

🌑 The Throbbing

One night, when everything was quiet, Klaro heard it again.

A soft throbbing.
Like a heart that remembers.

He put his hands over his ears.

“Not right now. I’m busy.”

But the throbbing remained.
It was warm – and friendly.
And the more he ignored it, the more he felt a restlessness in his chest.

He wrote lists, counted tasks, breathed faster.

But the warmth remained.
She didn’t knock loudly, she waited.

Klaro stood up.

“I need to know what that is,” he said sternly.

Gecko followed him.
He was awake, but calm.
For the first time, he didn’t raise the alarm.

They walked through the long corridor.
The pounding came from a small door.

Klaro put his hand on the handle – and pulled it away again.

“If I open it, I lose control.”

Gecko tilted his head.

“Or you find her,” he whispered.

Klaro was breathing heavily.
He wanted to run away, but his feet stopped.

He put his hand on the handle again.
It trembled – but this time he opened it.

🌤️ The Encounter

There was light inside.
Not glaring, but warm – like summer through leaves.

And in the middle of it all sat Limbi.
He looked tired, but his eyes were shining.

“I never hated you,” Limbi said quietly.

Klaro felt himself getting hot.
Something in his chest squeezed and suddenly tears ran down his cheeks.

Gecko remained silent and breathed deeply.

Klaro sat down.
He didn’t know what to say.
He looked at Limbi and whispered:

“I’ve forgotten how you feel.”

Limbi smiled.

“I was here the whole time. I was just waiting for you to come back.”

Then Klaro closed his eyes – and with a deep breath, he became Klara again.

🌈 When They Are Together Again

Since then, they have known that everyone has their time.

When danger threatens, Gecko can lead.
When closeness is important, Limbi can feel.
And when something needs to be understood, Klara can think.

But they also know that if there is no coherence inside, Klara becomes Klaro again – strict, controlled, exhausted.

Then Limbi gently reminds her:

“You don’t have to control anything, Klara.
You can just listen again.”

And Gecko nods:

“I’ll make sure it stays safe.”

Then Klara takes a deep breath and everything becomes calm, warm and alive again.

The house is not perfect.
But it is real.

💬 You

And if you get really quiet, you might even be able to hear your own throbbing .

This is Limbi.
He doesn’t wait angrily, he waits lovingly.

And when you open the door to him, you’ll realize: You were never broken.
You were just disconnected.

And now you are becoming whole again.
